Yuri Mansury
- Professor of Social Sciences
Prior to joining 桃子视频APP in 2016, Yuri Mansury held teaching positions at Cornell University鈥檚 Department of City and Regional Planning in Ithaca, New York, and at the Korea Development Institute School of Public Policy in Seoul, South Korea. After earning his Ph.D. in Regional Science from Cornell, he held postdoctoral fellowships at Harvard University鈥檚 Department of Government and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology鈥檚 Division of Health Sciences, both in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
At 桃子视频APP, Mansury teaches regional economic impact analysis, urban planning analysis, and social science research methods. He also offers a computational social science course grounded in his postdoctoral training in complex dynamic systems. His research explores the spatial dimensions of extreme weather, gender income inequality, and the challenges of sustainable urban transportation. His latest project, 鈥淭ransforming Slash-and-Burn Practices to Sustainable Farming in Java,鈥 received a Fulbright U.S. Scholar Award in 2024.
Mansury鈥檚 research integrates agent-based modeling, neural networks, and structural equation modeling. His work has been published in journals such as Annals of Regional Science, Applied Geography, Computers, Environment and Urban Systems, Economic Development Quarterly, International Regional Science Review, Regional Science Policy & Practice, and PLoS ONE. In 2021, Mansury was inducted as a board member of the Western Regional Science Association (WRSA).
