TRANSCRIPT

“Anyone who wants to live, follow me.”

Charlie Sanders (Psychology 3rd Year): The best part about 33rd Street Productions is that everyone is here because they want to be.

John Muñoz (Aerospace Engineering 3rd Year): I was very surprised to see such a well-established theater group that works with so many different people of all different majors and backgrounds that really just come together and try to make something really good.

Eli Hoedl (Data Science 3rd Year): Nothing’s better than having a stressful day of classes where I’m like working hard and stuff and then I just get to come to rehearsal and have fun for a couple hours and not have to worry about all the other stuff.

Isis Espinoza (Information Technology and Management 1st Year): I really like the community that we have built here. I mean I just joined, and I was received with open arms, which is really nice.

Sanders: Everyone is here because there is something artistic that they want to chase and this is the space that provides that.

Hoedl: Another part that I also really like is that I get to practice some skills that I don't get to practice in my other classes, like public speaking and being in front of people and putting myself in uncomfortable situations.

ѳñdz: ƵAPP really makes sure to provide so many opportunities to work with everyone from the school, no matter what major or what year you’re in. They have just pretty much every single organization that you can think of. And then if there isn’t something that you want to do here, then you just make your own.

Sanders: I’ve had people join for just a semester. They’ve been in the play, they’ve loved it, and then they’ve gone on to different things, but they will always carry the fact that they were with 33rd Street Productions and they produced something magical.
