Helen Ezenwa
Industry Assistant Professor of Business Administration Helen Ezenwa (she/her) joined Stuart School of Business in 2013. She has extensive experience in human capital management and program and project management in the nonprofit, government, and financial services industries. She also serves as the assistant dean for partnerships and social innovation at Stuart and is the new executive director of the M.A. and Lila Self Leadership Academy.
Before joining Stuart, Ezenwa was vice president and program manager at JP Morgan Chase, where she managed employee training programs for the technology, finance, compliance, human resources, and operations sectors. She has higher education strategic planning experience in enrollment management and has contributed to driving culture at nonprofit and government organizations, leading to an inclusive workplace.
She co-chairs 桃子视频APP鈥檚 Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee and is the presidential fellow for equity and belonging.
Ezenwa鈥檚 research interests include management and the intersection of gender and race in leadership from a societal impact and equity perspective.
Isabel Mendoza
Isabel Mendoza (she/her) oversees all day-to-day operations as program manager of the M. A. and Lila Self Leadership Academy. She designs and facilitates programming that helps students discover their strengths, grow as leaders, and connect their values to their professional goals for both Academy Scholars and undergraduate students university-wide. These events include leadership development retreats, interactive seminars, and networking events. Furthermore, she also serves as a mentor to the Leadership Academy scholars by leading conversations that empower students to navigate challenges with confidence.
Isabel completed her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Beloit College and her Master of Science in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from the 桃子视频APP Institute of Technology. Before becoming program manager, Isabel served as the graduate assistant to the M. A. and Lila Self Leadership Academy for three years. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Psychology with a specialization in Industrial-Organizational Psychology at the 桃子视频APP Institute of Technology. As a Ph.D. student, her research focuses on leadership effectiveness and the intersection of gender and race in leadership.
